Work Experience

Sr Software Developer @Phillips66

2014 - present

I transitioned into a Lead Developer position in the Application Services group, which works primarily, but not exclusively, with web technologies. In this position, I have led a few different small development teams in both the Operations (Lead Midstream Developer) and Project spaces. We have utilized some AGILE work management during this time, and made great strides to bring some of our business applications into a more modern operating state. This role is definitely a comfortable one for me, and I greatly value my time in this group and the growth I've enjoyed as a professional.

Programmer Analyst @Phillips66

2012 - 2014

In May of 2012, ConocoPhillips split their upstream and downstream operations into 2 independent companies. Upstream operations stayed with CoP, while downstream business was split off into Phillips66. I was assigned to Phillips66 at this time, while taking on lead developer roles for the SAP systems I supported (a custom invoicing solution and a custom timekeeping solution for refinery contractors).

Programmer Analyst @ConocoPhillips

2009 - 2012

My responsibilities in this position include technical SAP consultation and ABAP development. My focused modules are Sales/Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Finances (FI), but I have also done work in the Project Services (PS) module. I was also assigned to the position of developer for a custom, enterprise invoicing and payables system that processes hundreds of thousands of invoices annually.

Technical Analyst @ConocoPhillips

2006 - 2009

Retail Leveraged Information Systems - My responsibilities in this position included high-level systems support and technical advising in relevant areas. I have been trained in the operation of a large majority of the systems used by retail outlets and retail business staff.

Software Developer @Laservault

2001 - 2006

During my time at ESC, I was responsible for every step of product development and deployment for various applications and suites. The company's flagship product is a COLD storage solution that caters to the small to medium sized business market. I was responsible for everything from bug fixes to feature additions to documentation to installation packaging. One of our other solutions was a content delivery suite, which I tore down and rebuilt to include a more expandable framework and data structure, as well as provide numerous additions to functionality. Another product development I led was a workflow solution. This product I wrote as a completely web-based XML-over-HTTP conversation, with the client and admin interfaces being browser hosted ActiveX OCXs. I was in the process of converting their applications to .NET, both VB and C#; this project started approximately January of 2005 and continued through my time at ESC.

Technical Analyst @Bank of Oklahoma

2001 - 2002

My responsibilities for BoK were mainly to assist with projects that were relevant to any software product or department under my watch. This included the wire transfer room, check encoding, check imaging, charitable grant tracking software packages, and other vital functions. I also acted as a mediator between software vendors and BoK, which involved some negotiations and decision making.

Support Representative @Laservault

1998 - 2001

This position at ESC was manning the Technical Support line and providing assistance to customers. The support was provided over the phone, using remote connection software. Another aspect of the position was occasionally traveling to a customer site to do installation or support work. During this time, I gained experience with various networking, operating system, and troubleshooting situations. Our support work involved multiple platforms, including Windows, Unix, OS/400, System36, and other mid-range operating systems.
